The Admissions Committee emphasizes a holistic review process that examines the entirety of an applicant's academic aptitude, motivation, problem-solving skills, leadership potential and life experiences. Admission decisions are individualized to the specific attributes of the applicant.

  • Transcripts: Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions you have attended and/or from which you earned credit. Learn more about how to submit your transcripts to PostBacCAS. Before applying to Jefferson, please review the prerequisites required for admission for this academic program.
  • Personal Statement: Please respond to the personal statement prompt in PostBacCAS.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters of reference that provide insight into your academic and/or professional competence. References from college or university faculty members or professional sources are accepted. You may request recommendations through your MyJefferson account.
  • Résumé: Include your CV or resume on the PostBacCAS application in the "Extracurricular Activities, Honors, Work Experience and Licenses" section.
  • Standardized Tests (Optional): Thomas Jefferson University has eliminated the standardized test requirement for programs where it was previously required. Applicants may still submit a test score, but the absence of one will not disadvantage the applicant in the admission process. Due to the correlation between performance on the SAT and performance on other standardized tests (MCAT, DAT), the program may request scores to assist and advise during the program. If requested, applicants should submit scores electronically using the test codes below:
    • SAT: 7923
    • ACT: 3668
    • GRE: 2999

Instructions to submit your supporting application documents can be found on the PostBacCAS Applicant Help Center. If you choose to mail your transcripts, please request that official copies are sent to the address below. Transcripts should not be sent directly to Jefferson.
