Master Class Series: Physical Therapy in Community-Based Healthcare

Physical Therapists play a vital role in community-based healthcare and participating is service opportunities to promote health equity is a core value of the profession. This presentation will discuss the role of physical therapy in community-based healthcare and explore opportunities for physical therapy involvement in this area if practice. Current service activities in community-based healthcare occurring within Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Physical Therapy will be used as a model for this discussion.
