    While popular media, the diet industry, and many health professionals tell us that our bodies need to fit a certain size and shape if we want to be healthy, the research tells a different story. In this session, we’ll explore the preconceptions that have led us to these harmful beliefs about our bodies; identify reliable indicators of health; and discuss behaviors that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. You’ll leave this presentation armed with key actions you can take to promote your own health, foster healthy environments in social and professional settings, and support healthy choices in others.
